Quark — The Daily Rotational Word Puzzle

The Short Version

Quark does not collect, store, or share your personal data. Period.

What We Don't Collect

• No personal information (name, email, phone number)

• No location data

• No usage analytics or tracking

• No advertising identifiers

• No cookies or web tracking

Data Stored on Your Device

Quark stores your puzzle progress, settings, and streak data locally on your device using iOS built-in storage (UserDefaults and iCloud Key-Value Store). This data never leaves your device or Apple's ecosystem. If you delete the app, this data is deleted.

iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled, your puzzle progress may sync across your Apple devices using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store. This is handled entirely by Apple's infrastructure and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to your iCloud data.

Network Requests

Quark connects to a server (Supabase) solely to download daily puzzle data. These requests are anonymous — no user identifiers, tokens, or personal data are sent. The server does not log individual requests.

Notifications

If you enable daily reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No push notification tokens are sent to any server.

Third-Party Services

Quark does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

Quark does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Given that we don't collect data, changes are unlikely.
